Very helpful. Is this from the FSM? Do you have the rest of it and does it cover the new alloytech?

    Hi Exec24

You obviously have something many of us want - a genuine VY shop manual.

My main interest is the factory wiring diagrams - those I have from the Ellery's manual aren't worth the paper they're printed on.

Is there any chance you can attach some of those? In particular, I am after Calais console and dash wiring plans and the reversing sensor setup.

Alternately, how did you come by your FSM?

    Regards

    pj

I tried removing the top console yesterday and had it all prised out but there was something holding it in just in front of the shifter even though I'm sure there are no screws apart from the one right at the front by the front compartment. I had removed the rubber compartment but there was no way the console was going to lift out. I didn't want to put too much pressure on it incase it split. Are there any tips on how to get it out??

yea they take a bit of work to get out the first time. there is nothing holding it back exsept a few small clips on the inside, jst keep playing around with it pulling it in different directions an stuff, it will eventualy come out.

drop the fuse cover under the steering column (it's only held by clips along the top, just pull it open). Remove the 3 screws as shown in post #13 and bob's your uncle

Also i will remind people that i wont copy the workshop manual(no exceptions)

All Requests for Copy's will Be Ignored from Now On

any Holden Dealer should be able to suppy you with one, but there not cheap allow $200-400, depending on what model you have

if your after info PM ME, but it all depends on what your after -some of the sections are 20 pages long

also let me know what series and luxury level you car is if its regarding wiring, as there is heaps of info for me to go through to see what relevant

My Workshop Manual Only Covers VY(Not VZ) so i dont have any other info
