can anyone please give me some idea about a vehicle vin number?
i want to know a little more about the sle i have recently bought.
the id plate reads 8X69RB J779867H Thanx

if you call holden and get them to run the vin they can tell you if it is a genuine sle/x, what options where fitted standard (ie additional options) if you get a nice person. If you dont they will not help much. The detail of the vin for most cars has a code for the place of production then the production number but as this is before the 17 digit vin system info is very limited.

ring vtnz 0800 number and qote vin number,or any vtnz workshop and they should help you out. wife works there. hope this helps you.
