G'day Fellow Commy Lovers. I Have The Chance To Get A Vs Ecotech Engine, Auto, Computer And Wireing Harness Exept I Wanna Keep My Manuel Gear Box But Will The 5spd And Cable Clutch From My Vr Fit. Do The 2 Engines Have The Same Bellhousing Bolt Patterns. If Some One Knows Or Has Done This B4 I Would Like To Ask Some More Questions.thanx

The Ecotec will bolt up to the Vr 5 Speed but your problem is with the flywheel, I don't think you can use the Vr one, you have to get one to suit the Ecotec.
