Codes & Extraction - VL RB20/30
The VL computer is located under the passengers side kick panel. Once the computer is exposed and with the engine running, carefully turn the 'idle speed' screw around to diagnostic mode. Counting the flashes of each LED gives the code, with red for tens, and green for ones.

VL ECU FAULT CODE LIST
11 - Crank angle sensor (CAS)
12 - Airflow meter (AFM)
13 - Temprature Sensor
14 - Vehicle speed sensor
21 - Ignition signal
23 - Throttle switch
24 - Neutral switch
31 - System pass (everything ok) Non A/C models -or- A/C circuit fault in A/C models
32 - starter signal
34 - knock sensor (turbo models)
44 - System pass - A/C models
