not all series 3 VS 5.0 were sequential though, some still have the normal VS setup.

This has always confused me Rob, how was it deffined? Do you have a cut off date for the group fire/seqential change over?

not sure on the dates, there is a production option to identify the sequential engine, XT5 or XT9 or something ill have to look it up

you would have to convert to a VT wiring harness & PCM, possible but no real gains to be had

But maybe a little better fuel economy as only individual injectors fire rather than all at once on each crank rotation. Correct me if I'm wrong.

id say teh cut off for SI would of been 1997 sometime when the vt was released.

so 1997 to 2000 model VS series 3 commies would of had it.
