Default useless button

i got a new car, and i was checkin it out. but i found a button that seems to do nothing, i looked in the manual but its a manual for a calais, so that didnt help.

but the button looks like its for the interior lights, and is located on the dash near the hazard libhts and cruise control.

it is frustrating me not knoing its perpose!

cruise isnt a button on the dash so not sure what your looking at, the only other thing i can think its for is the driving light/fog lights?

firstly the manual that came with your car im pretty sure says commodore/calais. so just double check that because the book would be designed for both vehicles. send, i have no idea what your talking about so maybe take a picture and post it up.

If it's a VT-VX series check if it's not an ex-police car it may be interior disable light switch. Does it have a symbol of a light?

If it's a new car, like he says it is, then it wouldn't be ex-anyone would it. As for the 'button', again, if it's a new car, check the Owner's Manual. That's not too hard is it !!

if the car has foglights its probably for them, it probably seems like its doing it because you might not have your lights on
