What Would You Call This

need to know what it is called and if this number is the part number


And would u call this an external slave cylinder .it is a getrag 290 5speed out of a VT SS,I was told the getrag had a internal slave cylinder built into flywheel or something like that.

the first pic is a rubber universal joint
the getrag has an internal slave cylinder built into the transmission

thanks for the quick reply on the universal joint. so what would u call the unit bolted on the side of the gear box with the bleed screw is it just part of the master cylinder. would you now the price of the universal joint roughly.thanks heaps Dave.

The first pic is called a tailshaft dampner. Just simply takes up vibrations through the driveline.

Second one i would call a clutch slave cylinder.( i think had to look at photo a couple of times.)

I could be wrong but it looks like a very stuffed rubber universal joint. It sure doesn't look too healthy and probably shouldn't be driven.
