British newspaper report:

Four youths from Canberra, Australia pulled off a trick of breathtaking
bravado in order to gain revenge on a mobile speed camera van operating
in the area. Three of the group approached the van and distracted the
operator's attention by asking a series of questions about how the
equipment worked and how many cars the operator could catch in a day.
Meanwhile, the fourth musketeer sneaked to the front of the van and
unscrewed its numberplate.

After bidding the van operator goodbye, the friends returned home, fixed
the number plate to their car and drove through the camera's radar at
high speed - 17 times. As a result, the automated billing system issued
17 speeding tickets to itself.

yes, those 'greed' camera vans are a pain in the arse. went past one last night, lucky i wasnt speeding. i hate them cos if you see one and your speeding, usually its too late (or so you think). so then you have to worry for the next 6 weeks if you got busted or not! ive seen 2 of them set up on the same road about 2 Ks apart! what a rip! cos you see the first one and say 'nahh there cant be another one'. they are just revenue raisers!

that's just what they want you to think. looks like i my really have to start slowing down now not really j/k.
nah, i keep it legit during the 'speed camera hours' after that, you just gotta watch out for highway patrols. I save the racing/speed to the long stretches racing down beach drive
