i must say i have a bit of respect for ford.....well, they stole the XR headlights from the honda integra type R, the driving lights are oversized just to try and out-do HSV, the bonnet bulge was a last minute emergency thought by the engineers (well, i am sticking to that theory anyway) and the ohc motor has been used for years in the states anyway....not that holden is a great deal better, but better nonetheless...thats why we are here is'nt it?

I also respect them.. being an ex-ford owner they werent as bad as they are made out to be.. heck.. if the engine hadnt needed a little work to put it on LPG id probably still own it..

i dont mind fords, nothing against them except styling. the engine feels smoother but i prefer feeling the vibrations as you plant a holden, a drivers car. the ford is, in my eyes, more of a family thing, slow and steady wins the race blah blah.

Some cars are like a good wine theiy just get better with age (development).

Au falcons are underated especialy the series 2 & 3. Mechanically robust and if you can get a manual a sleeping weapon. The fault list is half that of BA and suspension is the same (XR's and Ghia).

Ba are a hunk of junk, feel less communicative through the steering wheel and guzzle a shit load of fuel. Yeah magic carpet ride but at a price.
