Cool Help with supercharger for 6cyl Commodore

    Hey guys,

I bought this supercharger from ebay for $250, the guy said all I need to do is bolt it in and plug in the wires.

I'm not sure where to bolt it or where the wires go but I want to try and hook it up today so I test it out tonight.

    Any help is appreciated, Thanks!

Pic below, my brand new supercharger.

This isn't a supercharger for a commodore ! it's Chromed Dipstick polisher for the Kingswood.

And you're not taking the kingswood I just glad wrapped the number plates.

What's your favourite ingswood country phrase ?

Sweet boost from that man, I'd be expecting gains of at least 350kw at the wheels........ probably another 50kw from it being chrome....

Given that this is in the humor section I don't think anyone's actually trying to sell it as a supercharger........

to connect the wiring, plug the red wire into the right ear and the black wire into the left ear...when you hear a fizzling sound it means its working...

OK all done, had a friend come around last night and help me fit it, we found out it already had a supercharger similar to this one so we bolted on the new one and now it has 2 superchargers!

We reckon with these 2 superchargers it must be around 1000-1500kw by now.

Last night I bought a twin turbo kit too, Ill be picking it up in a few hours and Ill install it tonight if all goes well.

How much power do you think Ill be making after I install the twin turbo's? 2500-3000kw? Yeah maybe more, I don't know!

Pics below, my new twin turbo set up.

    they are definitely fake.

Sadly, in the last post - if you look at the section this "twin turbo" is in...

Car, Truck Parts -> Cooling Systems -> Other.

Nice try - but not enough attention to detail

Wow we found it already had twin turbos so we chucked on these twin turbos as well last night, now it has 4 turbos and 2 superchargers!

After installing we started her up and gave it a few revs, the tacho went right around the clock and snapped off LOL. Probably doing about 24,000RPM

Sounds awesome like when you start up a lawn mower and put it on its side and kneel down and put your ear on the exhaust then give it a shot of nitrous and it makes your ears bleed, pretty sure everyone know how that sounds.

Anyway with so much power from the 2 super chargers and quad turbos I decided to buy some brake upgrades, 500mm slotted rotors. The guy says is pretty easy to change over, just have to weld them on and wedge a bit of wood between the calipers and disc because it has a little gap. Damn these are going to have some decent stopping power, just hope its enough to stop my 5000KW powerhouse.

Anyone got any ideas what I should do to this beast next?

    Picking these up tomorrow.

So.. the 500mm slotted rotors were a big success, I was doing about 350kmph reversing out of the drive way and hit the brakes because I needed to check for cars on the road and it ripped up the cement drive way for about 3 meters on each wheel LOL but thats ok because now I know how fast the stop Ill be more careful next time.

I have this weird sound coming from the car, a rattle like crazy. At first I wasn't sure what it was but my friend said it might be the muffler bearings so we took the muffler off to have a look.

Im pretty sure the muffler bearings are fine as they show hardly any signs of wear but anyway now Ill be looking for some performance mufflers and heavy duty muffler bearings seeing as I put the bearings back in this one and sticky taped this muffler back together but I can still hear the noise.

Ill post pics once I get my new muffler and bearings.

Pic below, my current muffler and bearings.
