    Cool Weather Damage.....

With all the news on TV lately about the hurricanes that America is experiencing, the typhoons in China, flooding in Switzerland and recent
mud slides in South America, we shouldn't forget that Australia has its share of devastating weather too.

Attached is a photo illustrating the damage caused at my house from the storm that passed through a few mights ago......

absolute devistation. I hope it doesn't cost you too much to clean up rat
    Now for a prayer...

To our god, who art made in Adelaide. Holden be thy name. Thy legends come, and championships won, on circuits as it is on Mount Panorama. Give us this day our daily grunt, and forgive us our burnouts, as we forgive those who choose to drive fords. Lead us into temptation, and deliver us a V8. For thine is the spirit, the power, and the glory are yours, now and for ever.
    HOLDEN!

by the way: how much did the insurance company estimate the damage at costing? (not including labour costs: 6-pack)

    Top stuff Rat!!

I hope there were no casualties. Looks like George Bush is to blame for this one as well: it doesn't look like the evacuation was very successful here either! Wonder how long it took for the cleanup to get into gear...

After the high cleanup cost (callout fee + 6-pak + labour) compared to the value of the devastation (fallen chair) the insurance company may just write off your chair because it's not worth fixing!!

what are outdoor setting chairs worth? $20? $50? lol the hard part would be finding either a single equivilent replacement or a equal complete replacement

    Cool

Well , there was casualties.... the chair fell on a possum as it scrambled across the patio.cos the wind had blown it's nest out of the neighbours TV antenna cos the Installation fella only did 1/2 the job cos he was scared of a little possum.......tripping on the empty stubbies the chair caused to fall off the table, the possum then attacked the cat from next door, which shat (evacuation !!)itself on the neighbours clothes-line, all over her new flower pattern curtains that she had just hung out .....the cat then attacked it's owner, who hadn't had a tetanus shot in 20 years, we ran outa petrol getting aound to the Doctors, etc etc etc...And yea, I blame GW fully for this...if America is as big as they reckon they are, why'd they have to palm the excess storms off onto us????AND we wouldn't have run outa petrol either......And the lady next door is still in hospital.....clean-up will have to wait......(Writes mental note to self..."Bolt the chairs down"...).......
