holy bageebus!! the only time.. and I mean the ONLY time I would ever get out a car driving, drifting or burning out was when me and my mates were flogging the burnout car in a mates backyard, going about 20-30 km/h , we all jumped out of the car as it headed for a tree.. (we had hoses in case of fire etc.. nothing would have exploded as it was out of petrol)...
