Rip off of the week....

A mate of mine bought a really nice looking VP a few months back. You know, V8, body kit blah blah. Anyway, he spent the next month or so boasting about these straight cut alloy timing gears it had. I mean it sounded like a jet taking off! He wouldn't shut up about them, and drove round like he was king shit. Said to everyone, that their cars were crap compared to his, because his had straight cuts. Therefore he had the hottest car in town

Last night, he came around to my house looking a bit sheepish. He asked me what was different about his car, gave a couple of (hugely over the top) revs and waited for my response. I asked if he'd had the straight cuts take out and if so why?

He replied, while refusing to look at me: "They disappeared after I replaced the rooted water pump..."

Needless to say, I spent the next half hour laughing at him....
Who looks stupid now huh?

thats F**king funny, but i dont know how ya can confuse the noise a stuffed water pump makes with straight cut gears. But very very funny!!

Well, I've only heard straight cuts in a straight six. I should have known better than to take his word for it!!
