who hasn't followed an old Valiant and noticed the "170hp" badge on the back...remember this was at a time when the red motor was only nudging 100 if it was lucky...
...and we won't even get onto the stock standard 203hp 265 hemi, not tomention the 320hp E49 motor...let's see those figures out of an unblown 6 cylinder nowadays...![]()

Not knocking the Valiants, they are my favourite car. Remember as well that the Val was good for 157Km/h and Ford or Holden of the same vintage could only just better 140km/h after an hour of accelerating.
