A guy in our local area has just bought a new BA V8 Falcon with all the bells and whistles.
The joke is first time he tried to do a burnout he ripped the centre bearing right out of the car along with a good chunk of the floorpan.
I havent heard if he tried to claim warranty.
Can you imagine that happening at full noise.
ONYA FORD !!!!!![]()

hey man even our beloved lionhearts can die like that.
heard of a guy in a brand spankers XR8 ute doin donuts and the diff BLEW UP.
that's put down to stupid owners, not crap cars
I heard of someguy in a Commodore, he ripped a few burnouts and his diff blew..
Oh wait, that was me..
Shit happens to cars.. Holden or Ford..
If you think blowing diffs etc is limiited to Fords then.... onya..
Yep, who doesn't know someone who's blown the crap out of an old Holden Banjo diff, you know, the ones with the crown wheel and pinion made of plasticine?![]()
Take one EH, HR or early Kingswood with a reasonably hot 186 and a manual, with a banjo diff, and even think about dropping the clutch at anything over 4000rpm and you're walking home... :b:![]()
Yeah thats what i am saying , it wasnt the diff or the gearbox it was the centre bearing which in the middle of the driveshafts which is attached to the floorpan ,so the Fraud floorpan must be made out of tissue paper.
The same guy had a VT 5.7 gen 3 ,did the same thing continuously but never hurt it.
Has anyone else seen the footage of the Brand New Tommi Makinnen Evo VI on a runway in new zealand that dumps the bottom of the trans on the ground when the driver dropped the clutch, he had dne it a few times before, revved it, bounced it off the limiter and dropped the clutch. Some fairly large pieces came out of it too. The guy driving it didnt even own the car either
your the joke ******** gget a lifeOriginally Posted by ADZ124

Gotta feel sorry for the guy though, cause even though it was probably a fault with his car...not sure ford would honor the claims cause of the circumstances it happened under...
I love my holdens for sure...take a holden over a ford anyday, but still don't think its all that mature to take the piss outta someones really really bad misfortune...
This forum doesn't have room for that kind of shit.. Seriously, look around..Originally Posted by ADZ124

that'd seriously hurt.. especially considering the situation ford might give him a hard time for warranty..

i suppose one should just keep an old bush basher for the fun work and leave the new cars to cruising.
attn Über geeks, i play Second life. Patrio Graysmark.
What's so funny about that?
Oh wait it's because it was a Ford, now I get it.![]()
Seriously it can just as easy happen to anything, not just Fords.
Boy do I find some people childish, when they blame a failure, on a car's badge.
