    Default Onya Ford !!!!

A guy in our local area has just bought a new BA V8 Falcon with all the bells and whistles.
The joke is first time he tried to do a burnout he ripped the centre bearing right out of the car along with a good chunk of the floorpan.
I havent heard if he tried to claim warranty.
Can you imagine that happening at full noise.

Yep, who doesn't know someone who's blown the crap out of an old Holden Banjo diff, you know, the ones with the crown wheel and pinion made of plasticine?
Take one EH, HR or early Kingswood with a reasonably hot 186 and a manual, with a banjo diff, and even think about dropping the clutch at anything over 4000rpm and you're walking home... :b:

Yeah but to rip away some of the floorpan is ridiculous IMO shoddy welding aye. Blowing the diff I could live with, and have lived with it. Banjo = Bango

Yeah thats what i am saying , it wasnt the diff or the gearbox it was the centre bearing which in the middle of the driveshafts which is attached to the floorpan ,so the Fraud floorpan must be made out of tissue paper.
The same guy had a VT 5.7 gen 3 ,did the same thing continuously but never hurt it.

Has anyone else seen the footage of the Brand New Tommi Makinnen Evo VI on a runway in new zealand that dumps the bottom of the trans on the ground when the driver dropped the clutch, he had dne it a few times before, revved it, bounced it off the limiter and dropped the clutch. Some fairly large pieces came out of it too. The guy driving it didnt even own the car either

Yeah, must say i don't find that all that funny...
Cause obviously there was a fault with the guys car as there are plenty of BA'a out there cuttin hoops without any problems...

Gotta feel sorry for the guy though, cause even though it was probably a fault with his car...not sure ford would honor the claims cause of the circumstances it happened under...

I love my holdens for sure...take a holden over a ford anyday, but still don't think its all that mature to take the piss outta someones really really bad misfortune...

sounds like you have blinkers on and all you can see is holden. Broaden your horizons mate, it could have happened to ford/holden/toyota. Holdens fall apart just as often. Definately not funny, id be spewing if my sv6 did something like that.

i suppose one should just keep an old bush basher for the fun work and leave the new cars to cruising.

    What's so funny about that?

Oh wait it's because it was a Ford, now I get it.

Seriously it can just as easy happen to anything, not just Fords.

Boy do I find some people childish, when they blame a failure, on a car's badge.
