i actually experienced something similar but with a speed camera.
i was was goin down the road next to my mate(both in our own cars) doin wat P platers do best. wen we got up to the curve in the road a cop just walked out a started pointing the radar at the traffic behind us.
and i figured if we were drivin normally (ie 10 or so above the speed limit, wat everyone normally does) we would have been caught but cause we went faster and got ahead we were safe.
then again, if he stepped out earlyer. copper speed bumb
