As soon as I saw the topic however, "How to really scare other drivers" one thought came to mind..
I was in the McDonalds car park in my VK (auto).. anyway, waiting half hour for my order in the drive thu, this idiot "P Plater" (not stereotyping, this guy was an idiot) decide he wants to start revving his car.. I was sure it was a VN/VP.. anyway, he gets crazy starts etching foward rapidly, standstills etc.. so I put the car in reverse - foot firmly on brakes so I knew it wasn't going anywhere.. the guy kept up the crazyness.. so I gave the car a bit of power (just so the ass end dug down and looked like it was about to go barrel backwards).. surprise surprise, the P Plater backed off..
So thats my little technique to make idiots backoff at lights/drive thru's

Nice, not one for road rage, but next time, you could always get out of your car, walk over, rip his keys out of the ignition, throw them as far as you can, get back in your car and drive off.
