Either that or they don't know what they're talking about and read the badge wrong...

Yep, its a typo. Heh, it should have a badge on both sides of the car that says "3.8L V6"

I don't think it has it on the back on the wagons, but it definately has the two on the sides.

I know a guy who used to own a 2-liter six cylinder VL Commodore...of course he was in New Zealand...
Export model for New Zealand and up in Asia apparently. It was a revvy little thing that Nissan 2-liter 6...apparently a pretty short stroke and large bore.

well
On the Vr's there was no badges on the outside of the car that tell the engine size, (but its on the VN's,VP's and VS's) don't know why they skipped it, but they did, thats proberly why, or just a typo like ya said

Did they not share the same 3.8 litre badge as the VP? I could have sworn they did.
It's either a 3.8 or a 5.0 but still you want to show it off...
Theres no replacment, for displacement.

There's no engine size badging on the back of a wagon at all. Not even on the sedan. In fact, the only Commodore I can think of at all that has displacement badging on the back is the very base model VB.

Just looks like a typo to me too. If you have a look at the numberpad you will notice the number 3 is right under the number 6 easy enough mistake to make if you use the numberpad.

even if it was a typo, the position of the 6 makes no difference as it should have been 3.8L not 3.6
