How about "things that mum and dad told you that made you do a double-take"?
Years ago when my father was still alive, one of my sister-in-laws was being very strange...hanging around with "friends" who introduced her to some interesting chemicals which thankfully she finally kicked...anyway, I took her up town, and she claimed later that I kept trying to put my arm around her, feel her up, you name it. My wife went mad but later calmed down and ignored her. My father said "Yo shouldn't put yourself in a situation where you can be accused of anything, and anyway, if you;'re going to do that sort of thing, do it with one who'll keep her mouth shut!"
