Police in washington now have low frequency emitters connected to sirens that are inaudiable to humans but can be felt as vibrations through the ground around 60m away, the device is intended to serve as a physical siren to compliment the lights and normal siren itself


sounds like they're just wanting to put on some R+B and go undercover through the 'hood :P

if u drive properly and check your mirrors enough.. you should see the cops before you hear em. but some poeple are idiots and dont even look at the road

<how do i do strikeout? :S >thats half the thing though, if you had a good setup and had it full crank while bopping to the music eyes closed, you would think the bass suddenly got odd, i don't think it would be any more noticeable to that demographic</strikeout>, but people who are heard of hearing, or if it were to come out of a blind corner, thats got some potential, you would feel the rumble and stop, wondering what it is before the patrol car comes flying out of nowhere, i don't know about you but even on foot walking without headphones on, ambo's and what not are hard to hear until the last few seconds before they appear, their sirens are too directional imho.
