If you have todays (Saturday the 17th Nov) QLD courier mail, check out the lexus on the back of the cars guide liftout. The author has put down:

"The 290kW 5-litre V8 sips fuel at 9.8 litres a kilometre which is slightly less than your garden-variety V6 Holden Commodore"

Hmmm. For 9.8 litres, the commodore could get almost a hundred kilometres!
