Post Why My Car is the Best Commodore Model

Here's a list as to why the VT is the best model Commodore ever made. Can you list reasons as to why your model is the best?

    1. The VT window frames are the perfect size. I can rest my elbow on the sill and hold onto the top of the frame at the same time. +5 points to bogun-ism.

    2. The height of the VT window sill means I can rest my elbow on it and still reach the steering wheel without feeling stretched. +5 points to gansta-ism.

    3. The style of steering wheel along with power steering means that I can control my car at 150km/h with my index finger and thumb, and my elbow on the window sill. +2 points to hoon-ism.

    4. The body shape is new, rounded and fat (phat). Coupled with the "natural" rear wheel camber my VT looks like it's faster than anything on the road. +3 points to poser-ism.

    5. It also means I don't need to spend heaps of money on visual mods. +5 points to bludger-ism.

    6. The plastic headlights mean they don't shatter when hit with a stone, and the frosting over time keeps other drivers from being blinded by your headlights. Who wants crisp, bright headlights anyway? +1 point to optimism.

    7. The in-built shower feature is great for waking you up on that cold winter morning. Just open the boot! +3 points to hygeine-ism.

    8. My VT keeps me alert while driving late at night by randomly displaying Engine and Seat Belt warning lights. +4 points to Safety-ism.

    9...
I haven't lost my mind, it's backed up on tape somewhere

Thats the **** eh, gotta have the gangsta lean on.

I drove a getz the other day, was shatted when i went to put the lean on n found NO CENTER CONSOL to lean on wtf.

    Also had no temp guage....wtf

lol the leaning is the best. why would anyone design a car where you can't lean on something... do they expect people to have both hands on the wheel at all times or something?! and with the getz it's probably cheaper to replace the engine than to put a temp gauge in

HAHA prob just replace the car, there a pos.

The temp guage was a shock tho, what fool makes a car without one, there all goin to overheat at sum point in time, n the gets owners wont have a idea it gettin there til its pourin out with steam.

Just love following someone with the lean on...would REALLY love to be following someone with the lean on and see them have an accident...seat belts and air bags are designed to work when you are behind them properly, you know? Nuthin like the control someone has when something suddenly pops up when they are driving with only thier wrist resting on top of the wheel while they are leaning to one side...

...and yes, one of these tools nearly did take me out on my motorbike recently driving an old XF...and yes again...they kinda do expect you to have both hands on the wheel as often as possible...hope you were joking...

I can't really think of any reason my cars better than another model Commodore apart from probably being the lightest commodore with IRS that was ever offered for sale? well apart from the one factory manual one in the same colour that I saw on ebay

    Hard.

Any Commodore that tows a broken down ford gets the nod..

Driving a VP and VT, The vp feels spacey the seat is old and soft so it feels like a lounge chair, I'm a pretty big guy and yet my arms fit perfect on the arm rest and door arm rest never feel claustrophobic. Good viewing all round..
Actually i think the VP was the best of the Buick V6 models.

VT, Seating feels more surrounded by the dash and door wastline, You feel more confined sitting but safer, Pretty much the same as the VP my arm rest's on the arm rest and door easy, Viewing access isn't as good around the rear, It runs quieter and smoother brakes better and i can get parts from VT-VZ for it.

Thats still too many button presses. You have to turn it back on, get back to your desired speed, then set it again. Touching the brake just cancels it, then hit resume. Most other cars have a cancel button.
