Here's a list as to why the VT is the best model Commodore ever made. Can you list reasons as to why your model is the best?
1. The VT window frames are the perfect size. I can rest my elbow on the sill and hold onto the top of the frame at the same time. +5 points to bogun-ism.
2. The height of the VT window sill means I can rest my elbow on it and still reach the steering wheel without feeling stretched. +5 points to gansta-ism.
3. The style of steering wheel along with power steering means that I can control my car at 150km/h with my index finger and thumb, and my elbow on the window sill. +2 points to hoon-ism.
4. The body shape is new, rounded and fat (phat). Coupled with the "natural" rear wheel camber my VT looks like it's faster than anything on the road. +3 points to poser-ism.
5. It also means I don't need to spend heaps of money on visual mods. +5 points to bludger-ism.
6. The plastic headlights mean they don't shatter when hit with a stone, and the frosting over time keeps other drivers from being blinded by your headlights. Who wants crisp, bright headlights anyway? +1 point to optimism.
7. The in-built shower feature is great for waking you up on that cold winter morning. Just open the boot! +3 points to hygeine-ism.
8. My VT keeps me alert while driving late at night by randomly displaying Engine and Seat Belt warning lights. +4 points to Safety-ism.
9...
I haven't lost my mind, it's backed up on tape somewhere
LMFAO man i ****ed myself when i worked out no. 7 lol so true always happens and always wets everything in my boot including me (not that im in the boot. lol). And no.8 i get the airbag light and that anoying sound (me and my mates call it the VT national anthem)
9... addition to hygiene-ism, the lack of gutter means that if the window is open and u ude your wipers, you also get a shower +1 point hygiene-ism -3 points to annoying-ism
VR... Parts from VN-VS fit it +7 points to Tight A$$-ism!
VR... Gets the wiper splash too +1 point to Hygine-ism!
VR... Center console lid is perfect for leaning on while holding the wheel with ur other arm + 5 points to Gangta Lean-ism!
VS,
*tail lights can be 'customised' by just leaving it in sun light...reverse night shade+5 points for uniqueism
*Every interior piece dosnt quite fit so you get a lovley squeek/rattle even with no stero + 2 points tightasssim
*Head lights arnt bright enough to see 10 feet infront of you + 1 point for not startling road side pedestrians/animals
lol yea thats on my to do list
Chuck Norris destroyed the periodic table, because he only recognizes the element of surprise
vn... the worn steering parts mean that you have no idea which way the car is going to go next, +2 for surprise!
lol the leaning is the best. why would anyone design a car where you can't lean on something... do they expect people to have both hands on the wheel at all times or something?! and with the getz it's probably cheaper to replace the engine than to put a temp gauge in![]()
well here i go with the VY
1) busted radious rod bushes at low km making the whole front end shift and clunk +5 points extream scare the **** out of your passengersism
2) power steering shudder at low speeds making sure you have both hands on the wheel so it dosent slip on that worn leather wrapped wheel + 3 extream safetyism
3) factory paint imperfections giving you the impression that it was resprayed by a pack of wild dogs having hair and sand stuck on the surface +1 extream beast like propertys like its an animal been in a fight or something i donno lol
1. VS Doors locks rattle +4 for safety... antisleepatthawheelism+
2. Adjustable steering wheel +2 for versatility... steerwiththekneeism+
3. Cruise control +2 for versatility... touchofabuttonovertakism+

West side is de` best!
Just love following someone with the lean on...would REALLY love to be following someone with the lean on and see them have an accident...seat belts and air bags are designed to work when you are behind them properly, you know? Nuthin like the control someone has when something suddenly pops up when they are driving with only thier wrist resting on top of the wheel while they are leaning to one side...
...and yes, one of these tools nearly did take me out on my motorbike recently driving an old XF...and yes again...they kinda do expect you to have both hands on the wheel as often as possible...hope you were joking...![]()
No10, No cancel button on the cruise control, having to brake every time you want to coast. Making the car behind you brake as well, +2 for surprisism.
press the on/off button? if you have a manual clutch.
13.3 1/4 exhaust only untuned!
I can't really think of any reason my cars better than another model Commodore apart from probably being the lightest commodore with IRS that was ever offered for sale? well apart from the one factory manual one in the same colour that I saw on ebay![]()
Hard.
Any Commodore that tows a broken down ford gets the nod..
Driving a VP and VT, The vp feels spacey the seat is old and soft so it feels like a lounge chair, I'm a pretty big guy and yet my arms fit perfect on the arm rest and door arm rest never feel claustrophobic. Good viewing all round..
Actually i think the VP was the best of the Buick V6 models.
VT, Seating feels more surrounded by the dash and door wastline, You feel more confined sitting but safer, Pretty much the same as the VP my arm rest's on the arm rest and door easy, Viewing access isn't as good around the rear, It runs quieter and smoother brakes better and i can get parts from VT-VZ for it.
