    VTEC - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

    engine technology originally developed by Honda, used in a lot of modern car engines. The whole "VTEC just kicked in yo" thing comes from ricers who think that because their engine cover has "VTEC" on it, that it gives them 1000000 extra horsepower, the same as their fartcan, stupid body kit, and stupid wheels.

    Default V-Tec...

    It's actually variable valve timing just like VVTI....
    My Honda Outboard is a Vtec....It's like having a small camshaft for low end power, and a big Cam for top end as V-Tec comes into action.....all in the one engine......
    If I'm not pulling Toyota's out of the Bush, I'm pulling 12's in the Sig :-)
