    hmmm... i thought that was how the TWO fingers up 'salute' was created? because they needed both main fingers to fire, not just one?

    i dunno... guess i'm wrong

    also thats where the phrase "out of the blue" came from- the brits arrows falling from the sky

    nah thats what i thought as well the two main fingers were the ones they cut

    yeah, they cut off both fingers,

    the middle finger history dates back to the roman empire where it was an insult major towards the gay's at the time (middle thing as the dck and fingers next to it to represent balls)

    so imagine walking down the street and everyone showing it to you and having no rights because of it
