    Exclamation Great to know

    GREAT TO KNOW

If you should ever be forced by a robber to withdraw money from an ATM
    machine, you can notify the
Police by entering your Pin # in reverse.

For example if your pin number is 1234 then you would put in 4321.

The ATM recognizes that your pin number is backwards from the ATM card you
    placed in the machine.

The machine will still give you the money you requested, but unknown to
    the robber, the police
will be immediately dispatched to help you.

This information was recently broadcast on TV and it states that it is
    seldom used because
people don't know it exists. ????

Please pass this along to everyone possible.

The link you gave us doesn't say anything about entering the pin backwards.

And snopes says it's not true.

i dunno, i don't really believe this. also it'd be cooler if instead of the police, the autobank was a transformer. or robocop. that's the version of this story i'm going to start telling

Mate I worked for Armaguard for a number of years filling atm's and now work for the AFP and this is the first time that I have heard of this. There are heaps of emails out there that state the AFP said this and said that, most if not all of them are a hoax.

    **during a dream......
"imagine if your ANZ teller transformed and then the Commonwealth (re Evil) ATM across the road was like, 'oh hell no you don't!' and then went into robot mode and they have a massive duel in the street, shooting confiscated cards at each other like ninja stars....

I'm fairly sure that they grow legs and arms and follow you around all day until you need them.

So I guess he's not that far off the truth.

    snopes.com: Reverse PIN Panic Code

Another bs one. Always good to check these before you post/forward the email.

I still remember the "kittens in a jar" email that had everyone up in arms - all the dumb ones who failed to read the fine print telling us it was a hoax.
Internet = lots of bullshit sadly believed and passed on by some people.

Move to jokes as it is a joke.
