VS GTS-R: Yay or Nay?

Everyone seems to either love or hate the VS GTS-Rs, so have your say here. Who likes it, who doesn't, and why?

Rediculous spoiler and taxi yellow ruin it for me

They suck. I don't care how well they went - I think they were the ugliest HSV ever. Especially those horrid three spoke black wheels.

Other HSV's looked mean and purposeful - the GTS-R looked like the sort of thing that a rice driver would design.

It was a shame the Vic Government decided to paint all the taxis yellow after the GTS-R was released but for mine it isn't the sort of thing I'd like to drive

I much prefer understated cars that look relatively stock on the outside but pack a suprising wallop underneath to an out and out 'look at me' model like that

Its a shame about the taxis getting painted that colour, because otherwise I'm sure it would have well and truely stood out on the roads back in the day

I'm going to say yay, as i love VS HSV's, i just hate the wing and that stupid brake light under the wing on the bootlid on the GTS-R's.

I love the seat cloth, bodykits (VS HSV FTW!!), the manual trans, and the wheels and the 5.7 stroker. The yellow and black doesn't bother me all that much. Not choice colours, but i have seen worse. I love the GTS-R's more than i hate them.

I love it. It's the only VR/VS I can stand to look at. It's so over the top, it just works

Loved it when it came out but when you see the shapes of the cars that came later it sort of wore off me.

Anyone who knows their GTS/R history would know that they were painted that AFTER the taxi's were yellow. Thats how they came about, left over shells painted, sold to HSV for a limited edition model

Well that's an even worse idea! Who paints their most special car in what has to be one of the most common colours...at least in Melbourne

Its all about the bottom dollar. If Mr holden rings up Mr HSV and says 'i have these 76 shells sitting here, that i'll give to you for half price, you want em?' Of course mr HSV will say 'i'll send a truck'

Not my favorite... the VS GTS looks a thousand times better

That having been said, if I had of won the 103mil the other night I'd like to have that in a line of 'classics'

It's not that bad... other than the bi f*ckoff rear wing.
Not exactly my cup of tea, but there are far uglier cars released on australian roads

im not a fan of it.

It just reminds me to much of every other vr/vs out there with a kit on... only thing thats different with this is thats its actually got abit of balls. Unlike the P plate v6 versions going round.

I absolutly love it, its pretty much my dream car!
As said, they spoiler is over the top but that could be half the reason it works. Im not sure, all i know is i want one
