JC LOGO's - By Request

Hi All,
It seems that there is quite a bit of interest in a JC Sticker OR Logo going around. In order to give it a go and see what happens, What would be better, the full website, 'Just Commodores - For All Your Holden Commodore Needs, the words 'just commodores', the initials 'JC' in the form of a logo, or a free logo to do anything, like a 'Holden Lion with JC on it or just commodores incorporated into it somehow' or whatever?

If you want to just vote on the poll or vote and provide and example, If it all goes well, I make a few sticker samples and post pics of what they actual;ly look like on a car. Note probably something that can look big or small and possibly in different colors to suit your ride. I for one am more into subtle smaller stickers advertising mates shops and stuff so I wouldn't want some big arse thing whereas some people like that too.

Thats just afew and try and keep the logo simple, cause im not sure how well the machine will go doing high detail stuff

Always has been but not enough to actually sustain a "business" on here.

I use Vinyl Stickers and will continue as its got a great turn around time and I work with the bloke =P

But on one point your right, maybe get a logo designed and have it here as a template for others to use as some kind of unified symbol.

Me on the other hand am quite happy with the sticker Justcommodores.com.au

...Buht maybe a logo would look sick, I'll start drawing up a rough sketch for one.

simple logo would be the way to go. for those who love some massive sticker, there's allready one floating around... "www.justcommodores.com.au"

Personally, and i'm sure some others would agree, a neat simple logo, containing not too many colours would be the way to go. Release that in a variety of sizes, and i'd say they'll start popping up on a lot of rides...

you could've added the poll when you started the thread, otherwise as thread starter, check the "thread tools".. Unless JC run their BB usergroup rights a little different....

Bulletin Board... vBulletin, goto the thread tools, depending on how usergroup access is setup, you can edit thread and add a post... 'ave a look, u may be able to add a poll, if not, the mods should be able to help you out

a) get the owner of this websites permision first, so talk to darren.

b) u catn use the holden lion logo,it's a copy righted immage to gmh.


restrict your colours, and dont use metalic's they fade way to quickly.

I know HSV is doing a crackdown on people (shops) selling HSV wheels copies and dodgy originals, but I dont think they will be too worried with a small club sticker, sticker joints copy it all the time for custom stuff. Unless 100000 or so go to print and are sold in shops and stuff.

It is still violation of copyright however you look at it, holden might turn a blind eye, they may not. Either way you shouldn't use it and you should seek permission from the site owner Darren before instigating this sort of thing.

yeh i hear you, but I dont think we'll have a problem, the lion was just a thought and we are supporting their product, there are millions of infringements out there and we only want something similar or maybe not at all. How can we use a pi

Check this pic out any way, its pretty cool, this is the first ever Holden emblem. The other one is just a pic of a Commodore. It is the rank higher than a Captain. Maybe a military sort of feel to the emblem.

The famous "Lion and Stone" symbol was designed in 1928 by George Rayner Hoff, and represented the legend of man's invention of the wheel. It was subsequently fitted to all Holden bodies and, although undergoing minor changes over the years, remains to this day.

Hey guys,
Just whipped these up quickly... tell me if you have any suggestions and I'll change them.
I personally like 4, would look good as a sticker I reckon.
As others have said though, I would definately wait for permission from the site owner.

Made up a couple of number 4's with the '.com.au'
I my opinion it looks the best where 'azzfox' suggested (number 1), but I made a few so you guys can give me your opinion on what looks best.
