30, only liek the senator, looks classy again and not just like a calais with a HSV badge. Rest of the models look like dog turd.

    I'm 24,

Anyway, I don't like them because they looks too busy and too try hard euro.

Looks like the designers went to a car show, noted all of the bits on other cars they like and then threw them onto these.

The lights under the headlights are AUDI looking, the back and exhaust setup looks like the Aurion TRD as does the front black bit.

Not sure what happened whith thoes rims but they looks like they belong on a 70's concept car and finally the bonnet has been pinched straight from what was supposed to be the new Pontiac GTO (I think).

As I said, it looks too busy... clean, un-interupted lines is what floats my boat and these just don't. The original VE HSV's looks better in my opinion.

Anyone noticed the actual body stylings on Senator and Grange are different? Not just the kit.

I think all cars are going for this euro look, just like any of the models, it will grow on you, I'm only just appreciating the VE as I see more and as I see the unique ones with a few mods on them.

Yeah... the grange doesn't have the 'fins' and looks to have a more angled boot.

If i had to choose a the least ugly one, I'd say the wagon. Because atleast with is I'm not expecting it to transform into a robot any second. Give me sense of mind driving it.

21 and still not a fan.

What is it with every car maker and these stupid blackouts? Falcons with the raccoon looking faces, and TRD's and now the HSVs have joined in. Is black paint cheaper?

I'm 24 and I like it...don't get me wrong...it takes a bit of getting used to, but I like it.

Personally though I think the best looking HSVs in recent years were the Y and Z series.

I liked them till Minux said "Looks like a TRD Aurion" And I have to agree. HSV's dont need to be gaudy like that. The muscle speaks for itself. Bring back the VY's and VZ's.

I like the senator. The rest are shit.

Seriously, how hard would it have been to mod the wagon tailgate to incorporate the same lights the maloo's tailgate has (not that they look any good, just that it needs something on the rear to distinguish it between a SSV Wagon.)

I remember reading in a wheels magazine when they first brought out the cluby wagon that changing the lights would cost something ridicules like 3.5 million dollars, I can see this money spend on better places.

    You missed what i said.

Keep in mind the maloos and wagons in the VG/N/P/R/S range all have stock taillights the same as every other holden model.

The VE Maloo has a different tailgate. Theres no way it would cost that much to develop it for the wagon.

Before I vote, I'd like to see the actual car at a dealership. Went there today but the E2 GTS won't be on display until October (That's what I was told)

Like i said, you missed the point. They've already spent most of the development costs doing the maloo. It wouldn't be ****all to incorporate it into the wagon, which would end up getting them more sales.

well obviously its not or else they would have done it, the shapes completely different when comparing the wagons standard light to that of the maloo's. so obviously that would mean changing more parts and before you know it changing the lights has cost hsv an arm and a leg.

I agree that they should change it, but when they brought out the sports wagon it was 1k more than a standard sedan cluby. are people really going to give two craps about a light when they are only paying 1k more for it to be a wagon. I'm shore if hsv changed the lights on it the wagon price would be a higher.

Yup before you ask I have nothing better to do lol. I'm home sick from school and bored as anything. I made this up you can see that it is a different shape so it wouldn't be that easy to change.

The Tailgates are the same shape next to the light.

I'm not arguing the fact that it would change costing, i'm stating my opinion that it wouldn't have been hard to do, identicle lights could be used, it would just be abit of plastic on the tailgate, just like the maloo is. The taillights themselves could remain, so theres no metal changes THAT is where 3.5 million dollars come into it.

They DID spent the money making the maloo different, yet its the cheapest HSV available, why not do it with the wagon, and add more on top, people are already going to buy it. Inflate the cost and make more money

Woudl make more sense to leave the el cheapo one stock, and make the special model, something special, not an SSV with a front spoiler.
