VH without a doubt. Last of the steel/chrome bumpers - anything with LESS plastic has to be good. Less gadgetry to stuff out on ya, and easier to work on for young guys starting out with a cheap first car. And the Group A was one mean muthaoh yeah and i started my apprenticeship on them

WANTED SV3800 headers for 34G, need stockers as made by HM headers ~ used with patina prefferable for scrutineering
can't believe i'm the first to vote for the vk
whats the difference between my missus and my blower??
well they both whine but the blower actually puts out
I canWhen they were new I thought the VK was a plastic disaster with freaky weird square gauges and I still do. I'll Be very suprised if the VH isn't the clear winner of this poll. Plenty of mediterranean ricers around that love VL's so that should be up there too
VK SS Group A is one of my all time favorite cars. Love the starwars dash of the VK Calais too (Bought my director only because of the dashboard)
Reaper
VL by a country mile. IMO they have the nicest shape out of the first gen Commodores. With the others they show their age quite bad, but the VL still looks quite modern even today.
VH FTW!!!!! the S\LE and also GRP 3 SS are just porn
If its got Wheels or Boobs its gonna cost ya money
really loved the VH
another vote for the vh. i wouldnt say no to a sl/e

New to forum, Im a big fan of the VC/VH. Just sold my VY SS to buy a very nice VH SLE in top nick. Really loving it.

not to mention the shear amount of money and work you need to put into them to get them to that level, factory vl turbos are slow as.
Stock for stock, any new commodore will KILL a vl... hands down dont even bother argueing. Brakes, Steering, Suspension, SAFETY, options... all of it. pour the same amount of money they do for 10sec VL's into a new car and you'd have a VERY nice NEW car which STICKS it to VL's...
aZk.
slow stock? Put a good exhaust on it and buy a boost controller and wind the boost up all up less then $500. Then you have a fast VL turboits a 20 year old car we dont drive them for safety reasons. How dangerous they are makes it more enjoying to drive Knowing your in complete control of your car without and safety features. If i wanted safety id be driving a vy or newer.
