    Default Wrestling fans

I admit it... I'm a massive wrestling fan... its fake blah blah, everybody knows that, youre not contributing anything to society by pointing that out.

Its one of the best types of entertainment I reckon, its got EVERYTHING - wrestling, drama, girls the lot!

anyway, I always thought WWE was the be all and end all (after WCW and WWF no longer existed). I was a massive WCW fan back in the day. Anywayy... WWE, although I still watch and enjoy, its just toooo much with the 'drama' and story lines which are just getting more and more.. stupid, nothing like it used to be. WWE is 60% talk and 40% actual wrestling these days.

Only the other day on OneHD I saw TNA wrestling for the first time. WOW! Its just like WCW used to be! the perfect combo of wrestling and storylines. In fact, many wrestlers from the WCW are still wrestling in TNA who I thought had retired when WCW finished, such as Sting, Scott Steiner, Booker T, Kevin Nash, Mick Foley (Mankind), and as of January, HULK HOGAN ALSO!! the women wrestlers (the knockouts -awesome name!!) actually wrestle! and they have some great moves, unlike WWE where they 'pull each others hair' n 'slap' each other a couple times

which brings me to my question... (READ HERE FOR THE ACTUAL QUESTION)

for all you wrestling fans, whats your favorite wrestling brand?

Just for the record ECW = WWE. The new ECW is nothing but a contrived peice of WWE Garbage. Theres nothing extreme about it.

I prefer TNA. WWE has become incredibly crappy over the years due to no competition. TNA is much more exciting to watch. Im heading to their Australian tour next year, hoping to see Kevin Nash and Raven.

Also check out Ring of Honor, they are the ones who discover a lot of the names that head to ECW...and get ruined by WWE's creative team.

I watch WWE once in a blue moon, but I haven't watched it on a regualr basis since 2006. Wrestling hasn't been the same since WCW went out of business, and IMO the best years were 1997-2001.

I got into WWE when I got Foxtel about 2 years ago.

I agree the storylines are getting ridiculous and I know I watch it and go "***c that is so fake' but I cant help watching.

The others do not interest me at all.

I love the commentators of WWE as well.

Gotta say love watching Bautista (even though that little punk in Rey Mysterio got him in last weeks match). Used to like Jeff Hardy but since he left and got done for drugs I am glad he is gone. Would love to see Edge back once his achilles is better. Really do not like CM Punk and Randy Orton and The Legacy. I like the start of Drew McIntyre.

So I guess the answer to your question is I prefer WWE.

ryno_vrx.. after watching TNA do you want to change your vote to FOR tna or AGAINST?

Also, you should have watched the repeat ep on OneHD today... mud wrestling match between 'the beautiful people' (a group of 3 knockouts - very appropriate name too )

Djmenow, I used to like the comentators on WWE but now theres two new guys, and i dont really like either of them. Tazz and some other guy are over at TNA and theyre just like the old guys on WWE which I liked

finally, SS 1998, I agree, WCW ah well. now day's TNA is closest to what WCW used to be like. Also, they have Kevin Nash, im guessing that would appeal to u being nWo

    Botchtista.

That guy has ZERO wrestling ability. He was as bad as Mr Kennedy, kept injuring wrestlers because he would stiff moves and was sloppy.

I am surprised Jeff Hardy was given the belt. He was given a huge push early in the year when he beat HHH at the Rumble. He got done for drugs right after it (why he missed WM25) and he came back and they gave him the belt, then he quits the business because hes burnt out...again. Then gets arrested with MASSIVE amounts of drugs in his house.

Kevin Nash has been my favourite for years, since he was Diesel in WWF in the early 90s. Ive got a interview with him and Scott Hall, very funny interview. They talk about being on the road with HHH and HBK.

the only kind of wrestling i like is 2 topless girls in a mud pit , watching two over muscly males in a square with rope around and hug each other is considered to be homosexual in my books

    INNAWE (in awe)

Noun 1. awe - an overwhelming feeling of wonder or admiration; "he stared over the edge with a feeling of awe"
    2. awe - a feeling of profound respect for someone or something; "the fear of God"; "the Chinese reverence for the dead"; "the French treat food with gentle reverence"; "his respect for the law bordered on veneration"

I didnt put it in the vote because its not really 'wrestling' as its actually real.... I class it more as boxing? (even though it IS MMA ) anyway, thats why, I was asking more about wrestling.
