    Hold on, the T700 won't go back to first unless it's under 40k's, so your going to slam a manual back into 1st at over 40k's? You can manually shift an auto whenever you want, just without the clutch pedal...

    The question wasnt what 'would' you do, it was what 'could' you do.
    You basically answered it, no clutch pedal!

    However, when going up gears, its still a sludgomatic when changing. Pretty sure theres a holden trans that automatically upshifts even if you hold it ina lower gears. No manual does that!

    I like what i like, yes. But theres no argument really, manual is better for everything bar fast strip times. Although in my eyes only manuals are 'real' cars, so any time set by an auto is irrelevant.

    Lets get Stealthy to move to Melbourne and see how much he likes driving a manual barge then . Where I live even though I don't have one a manual is much more sensible. But I wouldn't have one in a daily car for the city

    i have a 5 speed vn sedan and a 4 speed manual eureka which is an old kit car based on a vw beetle although it actually looks pretty good for a kitty. the eureka is a major project although i have no money atm so its just sitting there

    5spd as I fell I have more control over the car.

    Or 6spd on the Navara we have.

    lol i puch prefer a manual. my first car was a torana! old 4speed! drop it in any gear and she would answer the call! my vk had the 3sp auto. anyony got 4sp to fit a 202?
