Manual or Auto

Hey Guys,

Pretty simple. Is you commodore V6 or V8, manual or auto?

I've only had one auto which was awesome for the daily city commute, but prefer manual. Just wanted to see what everyone else was doing.

VH 202 auto, converted to m20 4 speed. What a difference in performance. Like chalk and cheese. Highly recommend that you convert any 202 to manual.

Prefer Manual, but Neither Statesman or l67 came out with a third pedal, so im gonna have to say V6 auto

Both commodores are 6 cyl autos. The VB would go a lot better if it were a V8 manual, but no good original ones were about when I was looking. Will leave it as a genuine 3300cc with trimatic for heritage purposes. The VX is a V6 auto, auto suits the V6 quite well, V6 has enough power. I am a student and a bit of a greenie, V8 would emit too much C02, and cost too much in fuel for the 500km/week of uni commuting I do. However, I will add that most 4cyl cars I have had manual gearboxes.

I have A6 in my 2010 SS. My preference would have been a manual but compromised with wife to get an auto if I wanted a SS lol.
