How to test it?

Having a discussion with Reaper about diff ratio's and gearboxes and it got me thinking.

I have the t56-m12 box followed up by a 4.11 diff, am I able to run the car off the speedo.

The only question that remains now it how I find out:

I was thinking about using an online calc, Reaper suggested the moorooduc @ 3am and a youtube video.

I had my VR V6 wagon off the speedo. Was ex ambulance, so had a restrictor removed and had the police spec speedo, which only went to 200kph. I reckon I had it at 220

what does the speedo read to?? considering in MOTOR magazine tests they can get the stock hsv's to hit the 250kph speed limiter yours should have a fair bit more than 250kph in it

Speedo reads to 260kmph.

Tune and gears (amongst other mods) make any MOTOR test kinda useless. Only way to verify it for sure is Mooroduc.

do it on the eastlink.... that way its an incentive to see if the accel and braking can work between speed cameras.

but come on you should know, discussing law braking on a public forum when police could be scanning this is a great idea..
