    Default Driving With Headlights On.

    Hey all,

Just curious as to whether you run your headlights ON during the day? I tend to run, at least my Parkers, 90% of the time and if it's anywhere near dusk/dawn or the sun is being glarey I run my full headlights on. The logic being that people can see my coming from a ways off, important on the more rural roads I drive.

So curious what the JC members do? Do you run headlights on all the time? Some of the time? Or do you use the Force :P?

Headlights on when it's dark. Off when it's light, unless it's pissing down rain or something.

####ing shits me when people have their high beams on during the day though...

I must say, whilst I do like the idea of having lights in the day. I does piss me off to no end when people drive at you down a long stretch of road, for like 3km, with their high beam aimed directly into my face in the middle of the afternoon (slightly more annoying at night). Luckily a lot of cars have terrible high beam these days, so I guess that's a bonus :P

Used to drive with the headlights on all the time in the SS. Dont do it so much in the Hilux, mainly if i go through a tunnel, and just CBF turning them back off again until i stop. I figure if you cant see the Hilux having the lights on isnt going to stop pulling out infront of it.

My VX's lights are permanently on auto. Makes it easy when at night because I get a bit forgetful and can leave lights on, as I have done to the VB more than once.

Lights on during the day only if raining. First car had the headlights automatically come on every time you started the damn thing and the amount of people that used to say your headlights are on bugged the crap outta me >.<

Headlights on all the time, never the high-beams though.

Anyone who says that headlights are annoying on a sunny day is full of crap. I'm pretty sure the sun is brighter than my headlights.

My driving lights are wired to the Accessory circuit, they are never off while the car is running.

I just leave them in auto mode and let the daylight switch work it out for me.

I only put mine on when its dark, raining, foggy, or otherwise hard to see. I don't bother when its light...to my way of thinking, if you can't see a huge silver metal thing moving around in perfect conditions, you shouldn't be driving.

Have left the lights on day and night since I got my car 3 years ago.

With the number of bad drivers on the road, I'd rather be sure I'm visible.

They switch off when I open the car door anyway so there's no need to touch the switch at all really...

Night time- headlights on. Day time- headlights off. I think having them on during the day is a bit odd.

I have mine on auto, so whenever the light isn't good enough they flick on...feels fancy compared to older cars haha. Can't stand it when I see the same car every now and then and they ALWAYS have their lights on...why...just why

Good mod, VY's have that option built in with the auto switch but good work putting it on the older model.
