VLs and VKs.![]()
2 of the best group A models. IMO
VN for its inovative design for the 80's
VS...all the power and economy of the latter models and it just looks so good...body kitted or stock they are just nice to look at...VS POWER HOO-HA!
Need some parts for my VH 253:
Green standard steering wheel...Green lower B-pillar covers.
Green sunglasses holder/lower dash bits...Air-con and assorted engine bay parts.
PM with any info.
definatly the vl turbo. Had the best motor of any commodore 6 or 8 and they can be made to be dam quick without spending a fortune
vn people only cause i own 1 lol man this thread iz old
No VE??? It is clearly the best Commodore to date by any objective measure simply because it is newest. Generally best to worst runs from newest to oldest with the exception of the VN which is the biggest POS ever made.
Reaper
i dont think i need to even say what i voted for

it should be the "Best holden" that way i can choose an old school holden like the A9X or old monaro their true blue aussie built cars. Thats the only thing i dont like bout commodores they aint aussie, all parts come from all around the joint, and are just assembled here in australia
vs is winning no the pole, hmm i woulda never thought

Is that being sarcastic or not?the VS is clearly the best Commodore made so far as I see it. It was the last light weight commodore, enhanced strut towers, better interior than the vn/p and the V6 gets the ecotec and you can get it in either solid axle or irs to suit your taste plus the V8's are pre ground ready to fit a stroker crank
I wanted vn but accidently voted vp...
Oh well.....Damn late night posting....

I chose teh VH, as it is one of me faves and I am biased hehe, however I also very much like the nice grille on the VB.... don't think much of the VC front. I love the simplicity of the VB-VH... the 202 is almost as easy to work on as a VW.
VK is coolish but too common hehehe... and the VL I have never really liked except as a stationwagon... but even then it doesnt entirely appeal to me. I also think VL's are too ricey hehehe
As for the later Commodores, I'd say my vote goes to the VN and the VR... the VP's nose doesnt float my boat, and the VS is getting a bit too modern and hi-tech for my liking LOL... all this ecotec crap hehehee..
I'v never really liked anything after the VS tho... VT's are ugly unless they have a kit and rims, same with VX's, and VY's and VZ's are ugly whichever way ya look at em (IMHO...
As for utes... I don't like the VG or VP.... the VR and VS utes look much prettier...
One thing I really hate is how VN's chew thru crank angle sensors and coilpacks tho! LOL
