What Web browser do you use? I use Mozilla Firefox because I like the extensions such as blocking flash and adverts etc.

I use Firefox, but this latest version is crapping itself on my desktop PC, it's fine on the laptops i use, but mine it routinely stops responding, it will always come back after 20 - 30 seconds, i guess i'll just have to put up with it and hope the next release doesn' have the problem

Firefox rocks my world. According to my sitemeter stats, 52% of my visitors use it too - It's sooo superior. What extensions do you guys use? I actually just wrote this a few days ago :FireFox an Intro for new users

lol I use Internet Explorer...I see no problems with it. When it causes me any hassles then I will bother to download something else. We always used Firefox at school and I saw no real advantage, plus I occasionally came across websites where the javascript didn't load correctly but its probably something of the past now.

I personally use Firefox as well, interestingly though here are the stats from JC.

    Internet Exploder - 83.1 %
    Firefox - 13.7 %
    Opera - 1.2 %
    Mozilla - 0.7 %
    Safari - 0.6 %
    Netscape - 0.2 %

For me, tabbed browsing is the main reason.

I think JC's are probably so different to mine because of the demographics. Still, Firefox is doing ok in general I think. If people just looked at it, they'd see why - but until something won't work in IE, they wont look

As I said in my post...I had to use Firefox at school and I still see no reason to bother downloading Firefox until I actually do have a problem with IE and as for tabbed browsing I never used it with Firefox and I dont use it now with IE...so I dont think its that greater feature.

I just downloaded the new Internet Explorer 7 Beta 3...it seems pretty good so far.

Perhaps worth a try, looks similar to Firefox. Its got over 1,000 bugs from the last beta version fixed so it shouldnt present any real issues. Its supposedly much more secure than IE 6 which isnt hard i admit...

    Rox mine too..

Opera has mouse gestures which are awesome.. I just hold the right button and click with left to go back. Amongst other things..

I still have Firefox for sites which Opera can't take (there's a few)..

As a last resort I use IE, very rarely though..

Good old Safari for me (Apple's web browser). Haven't had any problems at all with it. Although I have to use firefox for hotmail because hotmail decided it didn't like safari.

Mozilla runs pretty well but starts up slow for me because when you add extensions, it makes it a bit slower to start up.

Anyone tried IE 7? It's in BETA at the moment. I have been using it. It's a bit buggy and locks up sometimes. It also doesn't work with some Web sites. Looks like M$ ripped off the tabbed browsing idea from Firefox.

I've been using it for 2 months now and I've had no problems with it. In Beta form the phishing filter wont be all that effective as it requires someone to come across the site first..

But security wise it seems very good. Massive improvement over IE6. I cant stand IE6 at uni anymore, IE7 is much much better.

And yeah the tabbed browsing and overall layout is pretty similar to Firefox... But I much prefer IE7
