Well thats your opinion In the flesh it looks liek a BMFord, it is far too euro, the interior is ok, but very bland.

For me to put a car standard on 19's is a bad move away from the family audience.

For me seeing it yesterday made me wish i never seen it. I am defiantly not liking it

I like it... in the launch the back end looked very bland and very bloated... But from what Darren has posted in the news section, i like it!

I haven't stomached a whole lot yet, watched the launch and refreshed the GM site to see where the pics were going to show up to get them up on JC.

Now I've done my bit it's time to sit back and sift through the whole lot.

My initial thought was hey this doesn't look half bad, I don't know about the flared guards or colour coded interior but I guess like all of the other releases it will grow on me.

i think its gonna be sweet for the high end models, i personally liked the calais + caprice, wished they showed at the launch the base model omega(previously executive) and a six speed auto will be good

the VZ was still australia's biggest seller and they haven't changed it too much. they are smarter than to try and fix what isn't broken.

i think they've done OK. it does look just slightly like a ford with the headlights and some of the lines, especially in the gun metal grey pics i've seen.

Personally, I think it looks excellent.. From the photo's it looks sweet. But its not just the looks but the massive increases in safety, handling and suspension and of course quality makes the VE a great car!

don't like the ss, or the statesman, and the caprice looks a little weird.

i'd have a calais in a heartbeat though. interior- black leather looks awesome.

ss interior looks like puke - especially in that colour. the ss looks wrong, the rear spoiler looks disgusting on all of them. a little too euro, 19" is definately a bad move. could bring prices down perhaps? so thats good for me.

    Thumbs up

They ss looks very cool , not sure about splashing too much of the exterior colour on the interior and not that keen on the look of the seats but over all very impressive

I love the interior and the side profile. That one sweeping line from the boot to the bonnet is awesome.

I'm not too sure of the front bar on the calais.

Lovin it, used car prices might nosedive more than anticipated now too cos its such a nice car. SS looks tough as, interior, well, ill reserve judgement till i see it in the flesh. Still wondering if its just the caprice that gets the BOSE audio, or if you can option it up to that. Lovin the stato and caprice though *drool* damn i wish i was rich, id have an SSV, a calaisV, a caprice all on order now

Defiantly not. I have seen the final car in the flesh with no covers. I have loved all holdens on release at sighting, but this one just doesn't tickle my fancy.
It looks somewhat different in the flesh as to the photo's, the photo's make it look ok, the flesh makes it look chunky. Side on it looks impressive, at other angles a few things look out of proportion.

Thats just my opinion, i am sure many epople will love them. For me it gives me a chance to change manufacturers and go for soemthing different now

I have seen them in the flesh as well and I think these pics represent them pretty well. I was very impressed when i saw them for the first time and when i saw these pics today I was equally impressed. I can see where your coming from when you say some angles it looks disproportioned. For example from above they look wierd but who sees them from above anyway?

shave the flares off the SS and it looks like a falcon. I suppose their new motto is "Can't beat 'em, Join 'em" hahahaha
