Pioneer all the way! Hopefully upgrading soon...to another Pioneer!![]()
Got a sony one. Sony HU's seem to be fewer bells and whistles and better quality... exactly the opposite of their speakers and amps
Don't like pioneer much because they just look cheap and nasty to me... I know the quality is good but don't like their appearance.
* Phreddy's Blaupunkt Aux input and line out mod
* 18x8 inch Equus Kalibur Wheels with Maxxis MAV-1 235/40R18
* Sureflo 3.5 inch medium-loud cat back exhaust
I've got the stock VY Blaupunkt deck. It's a really good unit - the only thing that let them down was the lack of RCA pre-outs on the back (and the crap factory speakers) but Phreddy soon fixed that for me. Now I've got the Blaupunkt running an amp and Jaycar speakers and it sounds great!![]()
I kept the stock head unit because I didn't want to lose the "factory" look, plus it's intergrated into the steering wheel controls and dash display etc...
Yeah ive got a Alpine Swingface Deck it really good heaps better than me others "kenwood, pioneer".... But JBL all the way for speakers....
hey does anyone here no how to put in movies to a thread?

JBL dont make after market headunits only factory installed onse....I could be mistaken but im sure they only make speakers for cars not H/U's.....ino there was a model camery that came out with a jbl head unit but it was a US model and not sure wat it was....But JBL site only has speakers, amps n subs there....so it must be right then....
Pioneer.
I don't listen to it though.![]()
JVC, and very happy with quality.
$200 base model pioneer mp3, my only complaint is ID3 tags dont auto scroll![]()
attn Über geeks, i play Second life. Patrio Graysmark.
kenwood for everything except speakers, those are sony but will change to probably pioneer. and one amp is fusion.
just added alpine to the poll.......
after having a few pioneers for quite a while, i switched to Alpine last year, mainly because of the iPod interface that was the better of the ones on the market at the time......
I have had a few decks in my time.. From Kenwood, to Sony, to JVC and to Pioneer.
I bought a Pioneer DEH-P8450 and have that in one of my cars, and it is great.. I liked Pioneer so much that I bought the new DEH-P8650 for the commy.. Not sure if I will swap them around yet or not... Still thinking about it....
Gimme a million dollars to spend on my car, my stereo will remain stock. If it has a CD player, it's all good..
I still got the pre-historic sony tape deck, the only reason I keep it atm is cause its running a 10cd stacker. It came with the car, and its really crap, and stacker's dont do much for me personally.
i find that the stock stezza looks better. it dosent look out of shape. and i find it goes hard enough anyways if anythin id just change the speakers but i can spend money on better mods for my car

Alpine for the commy and pro-sound (what the?) for my ute. Tho there is no point having it on in the ute as it gets a bit hard to hear.....

Sony Xplod, but not sure I like it. The buttons feel horrible and cheap, and like they're about to fall off![]()
I really liked the Kenwood I had last. It was so good I put it in about 4 different cars along with a 12" Kenwood sub!
