Which exhaust note do you prefer?
While bored and having a 'whose dick is bigger' moment with Justin (Infusion) I thought lets ask the fine people of JC.
So I present the first annual, 'whose exhaust note do you prefer' competion.
We are both running basically the same exhaust setup, just Justins is a roller camm'ed 5L block, mine a hydraulic.
AGRSSV/AirStrike - Pacemaker extractors, twin 2.5" hi flow mettalic cats, twin 2.5" exhaust with a 2" balance pipe, one hot dog per pipe with a twin in twin out muffler. All on an auto VN SS.
12AWE/Infusion - Pacemaker extractors, twin 2.5" hi flow mettalic cats, twin 2.5" exhaust with a 2" balance pipe, one muffler per pipe. All on a manual VS Olympic Edition Ute.

mate thats the best v6 note ive heard yet good job! any chance of finding what your running? i was going to throw a set of pace makers on my vs calias ecotec but ive never liked the note the sound is to tinnie or some rattle but if i could get it to sound even close to yours then i wont be complaining!

heh as my youtube post says im just using a 2.5 catback with no rear ressie, mild steel. i like my low end note but over 4000rpm its all engine roar but below 2000 you barely hear it on the road

To the V6 guys ... it's a shame but the Ecotec will never sound as good as the old BOC 3800 ... I haven't got a recording of mine to back it up though
