Most definitely, I think they should do this but i doubt that its going to happen, they seem to be too mesmerized by V8's which is sad cause they aren't the be all and end all. Who knows maybe they will do one in a shorter wheelbase platform in the near future.

I would defiantly give them a chance, though I admit that a big V8 is much more "Aussie" and thats probably why Holden stick with them, pure V8 power.
They are probably cheaper and more justifiable than a twin turbo system too. Its easy with the Fords with the Straight 6's, but twin turbos is a whole different (more expensive) ball park.

I probably wouldn't buy one, but it would be interesting.
They could always strap 2 turbos to the 6.0L. Who would want a TT V6 then?

I'm just thinking with the price of fuel going up again and the ricers always bagging on and the alloytech being a bloody good v6 it makes it all more possible. When holden ran the nissan Turbo6 in the VL's they sold like hotcakes and were even marketed as the performance car of the time. Turbos are also more efficient at making power than superchargers. Not that there is anything wrong with the turbo sixes.

It's not that big of a deal for holden to set the motor up for a single turbo (at least) or twin turbos, the saab version already uses a turbo!. Its got more to do with the demand and holden doesn't seem to think there is a market for it, they seem to think that V8's are more important which is kind of backwards, when it comes to fuel prices etc (they are great but there is more to motoring than V8's!). They won't bother if they are not going to take well to the public, a lot of enthusiasts will be keen as chips but that may not be enough to sustain the product.
