mine gets filled up to the top once it gets down to 1/4 of a tank. every time cos i cant be bothered goin back all the time to keep topping it up lol
Fill up
Whatever the budget allows
Just thought it would be interesting to see what percentage of people actually fill their cars full when they get low or just throw $20 odd dollars in until it gets low again.
When you see a car that's BLOWN it's refering to the budget.

at the moment $50+ is hard to find, so i put in $20.
We got rep back, yaaay!
full tank once a week. fill up on tight ass tuesday
Mine gets filled when the alarm goes off 2 - 3 times per week.
Reaper
Always fill it up. Unless I'm in a real hurry or am in someone elses car.
I fill mine up on Tuesdays regardless of how empty it is. Tight ass Tuesday is the day as in the long run you save a few bucks. I rarely use more than a tank a week, more often than not only half.
Depends what i have available at the time, how empty the tank is etc. Usually ill put enough in to atleast get the tank to 3/4, but these days ive just been filling it.
Yeah, just fill it. Top her up on Tuesday, and if on Wednesday the price is still good, I'll drop in for a splash and dash.

i'll put in enough to last a day or 2 when its expensive because i wont fill up at top $ on principal, i'll always fill it up on cheap days when it gets down to a quarter, or just top up on tuesday even if i got 3/4 of a tank.
i full mine up when she gets to 1/2 tank or under, normally 1/2 last me 2 weeks
i only put in $40 worth of 98 vortex, which is just over half a tanks worth, lasts me the week, then will let it run to just over the empty line then put in another $40
I fill it up once a fortnight unless i use more one week, but usually by the end of the fortnight its on or below empty.
Australia. Love it or leave it
i fill the vx up once a fortnight as the missus only works 5 minutes down the road ussually its still got a heap of fuel left anyway.
and the vy i fill once a week ussually on a sunday ready for the long trips to work always been a fillerupper unless im in a loan car then i cheap it out and run on the smell of an oily rag.
i always go to the same servo aswell im not a hunter of cheaper fuel and i never look at the sign dont care need fuel not trying to save 3c
same as monkey cant be effed looking for cheaper takes more time than its worth.
Dont see the point of ****y little top ups here and there. fill up or nothing. costs the same in the long run and is less hassle.
Fill up both daily cars once a month.....
But they are approx 150 litres each.
One is diesel and one is petrol.
Luckily we are able to buy fuel here at just over $1 a litre by using different vouchers and discounted gift card etc so that makes a big difference each month.
How many of you buy fuel this way???
I hate seeing mine go under the q mark, so i try and fill it up when that happens...remember hearing somewhere that if you run it to empty alot of the time it wears out your fuel pump quicker.

I fill up on Wednesdays when petrol are real cheap.
Fill to budget. Being a uni student, I can't afford full tanks all the time.
I fill up twice a week. A full tank Wednesday afternoon where its the cheapest in my area and probably another 30bux monday afternoon. So i guess i do both![]()
Fill it up! Only exception to this is if ultimate is obsenely expensive in which case i'll put a bit in then wait for it to go down.
How many of you use those 2/4 cent safeway dockets hahaha. I laugh at people who go to safeway and try to spend atleast 30 dollars to get them. Ive seen people with 15 dollars worth of stuff go get more just so they can get 2 cents a litre off fuel, which is already 4 cents higher than every other petrol station. So stupid.
Depends where you are really. If you grocery shop once a week then you're hardly going out of your way or wasting money just to get the voucher. Here in SA the servos that offer the discounts are usually close to another that doesn't, there is no clear price difference between the two, so to say it is already higher than the others is a big generalisation. If its convenient then you may as well use them. I personally don't as I fill up at BP servos.
