OK people, i hear so many people say that their car or a mates etc was
a) ridden off, or it was a ride off
b) written off, or it was a write off
I say it was a write off!!!!
tell me what you say becuase i don think saying 'ride' is correct

Written off, as said above only an idiot would think different.
Explanation: It is written off, because in registry it is written down that it is damaged to what ever extent. It would not be ridden down in the registry, unless your a redneck lol.

This exact poll was done a while ago. It is "Written" because when something is insured it is Underwritten.

I'd like to ride off into the sunset in a 71 Boss 302 Mustang.
Then write off the trip as a work expense.
