For the VP.

66-71 litres depending on how much is left. Tank takes more but it's dinted to the **** house underneath.
BP Ultimate 98 gets me a good 450km local I'm happy. Cost about $90-$100.

Always fill Wednesday mornings it's cheapest then.

geez... I've only put about $20 in one car in the last 4 months, the other hasn't had any for nearly a year. btu neither are running at the moment and I can't afford to fix them. but before they died, i just put in what I could afford when I needed to. my car usually had $20-40 p/w, missus car had bout the same

the way i look at it, people spend money on booze drugs and smokes, i rarley drink dont smoke dont do drugs so i spend that little bit extra running my gas guzzlers.

i always fill to the brim, commoodore takes around $80 - $90 these days
the jeep takes $90 - $100 to fill and the cruiser isnt on the road yet but thats just a stricktly offroad toy

I always just fill both of the commodores. I don't see the point of going to the servo every 2 days for $20 worth. I'd rather make the one visit for the week and get it over and done with.

Although, I seem to get stuck with the task of filling the XU6, while my partner gets to fill the VN...

I fill it up to the brim when i need it (BP ultimate), and pay whatever it costs. I need to drive, the car needs fuel to drive. Whatever it costs, i pay.

I work, i earn money for these kinds of things. Money can be exchanged for goods and services

Fill up as required. Full tank everytime, regardless. Im not about to re arrange my movements so i can save a couple bob here and there.

If you are penny pinching or have a family (as i am about to) maybe then things will change.

I fill up with LPG whenever I'm empty, as the prices don't change.

I always fill up will petrol (on my or anyone elses car) if I can at Tuesday midnight, or later. I'm usually up at 1am and there's never a queue at the servo and I still get my nominal 4cents discount.

If it's a Tuesday I'll usually avoid the Discount Docket Servo's like the plague.

As a servo worker for a fair while I found that most people filled up with about 40-50litres. Yet they would line up for 30minutes to fill up with petrol on cheap Tuesday. Our queue blocked the roads it was that big, yet the queues at the non discount places (Mobil, BP, Ampol etc) were never even busy on Tuesdays.

I'll be most people would have paid $2 to jump from the back of a 30 minute queue to the front, but they wouldn't dream of filling up at a place where they don't accept a docket.
