It was reccomended it from a workshop. After reading up i figured i'd give it a shot. The engine seems to work les also seems alot smoother and less engine noise, i am getting better fuel economy and the car used no oil over the period of the last oil change.

there are many other factors also, was well worth the switch.

i used the castrol magnatec in all my cars, used nulon in the gen3 but had to change it too much engine noise, so have been useing castrol edge 5w30, but going to use castrol edge 10w60 as the castrol works heaps better, engine noise goes straight away(with in a min or so) but want to put in the slightly thicker as its done 166,000 kays and will be 175 by next oil change and to try and get that last bit of engine noise on initial start up. been told its piston slap and that piston slaps not good that the engine will need a rebuild, but sounds more like lifters, never heard piston slap, but my noise is only minor like lifter type noise and holden told me you can hear it from a mile a way when a gen 3 gets piston slap.

minux is that ulx110 the tittan oil? (i think thats what it is by fusch)
