You know how i feel troy
And all my cars are manual.
So much more fun, autos can get damn boring.
Only auto i would have is if i had some intense street/strip car with a hell worked auto.

I was nearly 8 months pregnant with Billee and Cody was 16 months old, I needed my lic ASAP so at the time, Auto it was.

I can drive a manual, but I keep getting told I should be a rally driver, so perhaps I should stick with the auto

Manual, more fun, more control, just a lot nicer. THOUGH occasionly I would prefer to be driving manual, when on long trips going through heavy traffic, especially stop go traffic.

Manual for me, main reason is, its alot more fun to drive, and you fell like your actually driving and got more control over the car and autos is so boring to drive.....

I like driving, i always drive when we go anywhere even if someone else offers to drive, and for me manual makes it all the better. It also offers much better compression braking for coming down mountains too, which is most days of the week for me. The only time i wish i had an auto is in traffic when i go to sydney and the old heavy duty clutch get a bit heavy.

Think i prefer an auto (a strong one - not my old trimatic) for the sheer lazy factor. After a hard days work with the roads i travel there is lots of annoying shifting and i think it gives me the opportunity to get more annoyed at other drivers rather than just bite the bullet and drive.
Manual is more fun though and i find it more worthwhile in the smaller cars in terms of squeezing that tiny bit more power and control out of them.

I think people who vote manual have never truly driven a good auto car. Give me my auto any day of the work, bit of work on the shift points, higher line pressure and say buh bye manuals.

manual unless you like to go fast in just a straight line and not around corners. but hey if some of us like to drive autos then thats fine too.

In a v6 manual is one of the best mods to do. especially with the crappy old auto's

but if i could get a fully manualised auto for the price of a manual conversion i would have done that surely.

it depends what the car is for.

for a daily/work car, auto for sure, especially if you get caught in traffic.

for a weekend/fun car, couldn't go past a manual or tiptronic

The Auto's make ground on the Manuals....

A busted up back seen the end of the manual for me. Thats when the auto went into the wagon (was a great 5 speed that really hammered for the first half of it's life)

Now the V8 auto (tricked up a little) delivers great driving/cruising.

manual for me any day. have driven auto's and get sick of em real quick. especially when i'm touring through hilly country with short straights, lots of braking etc. with a manual i know i'm in the right gear, with the auto you either gotta shift it manually(like i do) or risk it kicking down when you don't want it to or waiting for ever when you do want it to go down a gear

Manuals all the way. Autos for drag racing but manuals for fun and street.
