Hey guys and girls I've just migrated to oz from New Zealand pauses for the kiwi jokes. So that leaves me to get a new ride which i thought i should get a Holden as there killer expensive back home compared to the japs etc.The models i have had my eyes on are vp,vr.vs with a very shocking budget of 2g's am i going to get anything decent? And any advise on which model is better or worse would be mint..
Thanks J

for 2k VN/VP is the go in SA, im not to sure of the prices up at the goldie, GL with your search
PS- BL for getting DOMINATED in the (real) rugby last night
Forget VS for 2k cause if you find 1 that cheap itll be rubbish
Better off going for VN /VP at that price

If you want a Buick v6 skip the VR and go VP. IF you want the VR looks skip it and go the VS ecotec.

2k isn't much to find a neat VR/S with, so I would be looking at a VN/P

that looks pretty nice actually. just 1 thing around my area vn get stolen in like 12 seconds. so if you get 1 it might be a good idea to get a metal plate under the steering column and around ignition barrel
oh and id definately by that for $2,800
VP FTW for any number of reasons. Just drive a VN and VP back to back and you will see what I mean.

i would say that a series 2 vn would be an ok option, VP seems a lil better.. But i own a VR and would say look around see what u can find in the vr![]()
good to see more and more NZ's fall for the holdens instead of jap crap
Are we talking solid or irs VP's. I rekcon IRS is great except it seems much more nervious at speed, unless that's just my VP. But anything above 180+ is hair greying in the extreme. Ford drivers say VNs are too nervious I say they dunno what nervious is until they have driven an IRS VP![]()
Hey! mine maybe stock but I've had the local suspension man check it right out and he said everything is perfect nothing to be done! Mine would be fine at 200 on a flat road without bumps and more than one lane but there's no such thing where I live
especailly not a private one inside a farm!

They're all good I reckon.
I'd probs say, VP or VS, because VP is similar to VN, but more developed, and VS is after VR, very similar, but supposedly better.
But at the end of the day, they're all good. As long as you find one that's been reasonably well looked after you'll be right.![]()
