Stand Out
Ok so im in the process of planning wat to do with my Maloo so i thought id ask around to see wat others liked while i was at it.
Basically what do you prefer in general?
Standard: Stock/Original with very minimal modifications
Updated: Exterior changes without going over the top(like bringing an old car up to todays standards), and engine work
Sleeper: Fairly stock with all the work under the bonnet
All looks: All exterior mods making it stand out with fairly stock motor
Stand out: Exterior, interior engine etc etc. Everything to make ur car stand out from the crowd with the power to suit.

I prefer slightly modified look without going over the top.
Just a nice clean look, no huge spoliers and a nice 5L sound and all is good.

Update the wheels with newer hsv style and then its all under the bonnet![]()
all depends how much $$$ you got. if its unlimited $ go the stand out. otherwise just do some work to the engine bay & bring it up to todays standards.
I'm 1 for the sleeper style.Mine's a bit lowered, window tint,a nice set of rims and a few go fast bits.
It's your car and money and only you know what you like.Good luck![]()
I prefer sleeper, my car looks stock as a rock, but, come night time, it's one of a kind

Sleeper but I have a question. Is there or can there be such a thing as a sleeper HSV? that's normally reserved for Coronas with small block V8's or faded VN execs
I went for updated. A nice car with some simple mods to jazz it up, and a few small things that just makes it unique to you.
sleeper n updated..
going over the top with exterior modification is a bit try hard.. cause its wats on the inside that counts![]()

im a spray painter and a huge fan utilizing the power of the sun. bigger flakes brighter colors deeper candy paint jobs. go all out or go home... at the end of the day paint is the first thing people see and theres no second chance for a first impression. you can have a super charger sticking out of your hood but if the paint is busted its just a hi powered drive train strapped to a piece of ****.
dont sweat the petty... pet the sweaty...
