Resolution Help

Ok I just purchased a new monitor which is the Samsung 2333sw but I have a small problem with the resolution. Its supposed to be on 1920 * 1080 however whenever I do so the picture on the screen does not extend to the edges of the monitor and sits centered leaving me with a very small screen. I put it on the lower resolution 1680 * 1050 and it extends to the full length of the screen but it is incredibly blurry.

Any ideas?

Is there an auto adjust feature on the monitor, if so set it to native res, and run the auto adjust from the monitor buttons and you should be sweet.

How would I set it to native res? Is it a function within the display settings or the actual monitor itself because if its on the actual monitor i cant find it.
