Easy question, what is the best (free) wma to mp3 converter around?
I have to convert about 1000 songs by the weekend

I personally use dBpowerAMP. I'm not sure how the bundled codec will work for you, but here's the version I currently use - you may need to source new WMA codecs for it depending on the particular encryption on your files, but that's not hard
