ive seen the videos for this game and i gota say, its looking real promising

EA is releasing 3 Need for speeds at roughly the same time, need for speed shift which is for realistic driving, need for speed nitro which is like undercover (for little kidies) and need for speed world online which is a free downloadable pc version for people to play online.

NFS Shift is focused on 'hardcore gamers' and is purely about racing / drifting, the tuning is in great detail like wheel alignment tuning the car etc.

NFS Nitro is more arcade type like undercover which i probably will only get to add to the collection.

But yea NFS Shift i will be pre ordering and everything, the interior pictures look as real as it can get and so do the game play videos, and undercover for me was WAY too easy so this should be a bit more of a challange.

Its should be pretty good, im still a big fan of Carbon, Undercover n Prostreet were crap.

The only other racing game that i have really liked was Grid, awesome graphics but lacked game life like most NFS games.

Hopefully drift will be as good as in Grid, gameplay looks pretty damm good.

The NFS seires are the only games ive really purchased besides Crysis, last 2 were i felt wasted my coin, as i still find myself drifting the Viper on Carbon downhill stages.

yea prostreet was a disgrace, undercover i liked because of the graphics and cops but hated the way you bounced straight off the walls.
i hired grid and was amazed by the graphics but that was about it..

yea the series of games ive bought would be, halo series, nfs series which is need for speed: hot pursuit onwards and half life

Hopfully the customisation will be alrite, hopfully better then the blocky ars kits n stuff on Carbon. GranTurismo like tuning would be sweet.

Teasers look pretty damm good tho, much higher detail than Grid, just hope it takes longer than 2days to finish.

the reason i really liked carbon was the ability to customise a bit better which was lost in undercover espersically the paint i think its to limited i mean its a game i want some this crazy and out there no something i can see driving around town

lets hope so. if it wasnt for my g25, i wouldnt play NFS. it even made undercover alright to play.

i doubt the NFS creators will ever make a serious race simulator. im sure NFS will always just be a fun game, but noone will take it seriously

my all time favourite nfs was underground 2, remember all the shit you could do?

Paint, lowering, neons, HYDROLICS lol, nos (in every game anyway), body kits, bonnets etc and then after that there was upgrades and tuning.

I seriously want them to make a remake of underground 2 but with todays graphics

and also lets not forget, thats when free roam first began lol, and im pretty sure you actually had to drive to the races too lol

yeah man nfsu2 was the absolute best, they haven't made another nfs that compares (to me anyway). you can barely even modify your car at all now

i bought this today, chucked it in the theater room with 7.1 surround sound, and my honest opinion....

It is the best racing game i have ever played graphically AND game play orientated.

Being in the in car view honestly makes me feel like im driving the car.

It's also been getting great reviews from the critics.

The ONLY thing i don't like about the game and there's only one thing, it is the drifting, too hard lol

i also got this bout 4 days ago, best nfs game in a very long time, its not like most racing games much more realistic, sound is amazing i dont hav 7.1 but the sound thats coming out of the tv speakers is enough to make me smile

average rating of reviews are hitting the 9/10 mark

yea i was very impressed by EA with this one, i think Forza Motorsport 3 has a lot to live up to if its going to be as good as shift. yea usually the 360 is in my room with good old tv speakers lol, still fantastic
